This is a powerful and sobering story, Rodrigo. One that you have obviously written from your heart. I am especially moved by by two parts.

The first is having Lanta accompany you for the first time, when you knew you would need both a second set of ears, as wells her support.

The second is the two visits with your dear friend. His advice to make friends with the cancer holds great wisdom. So much truth in your statement that 'aggression breeds aggression'. This approach works on so many of the difficulties we encounter in this human life.

I am grateful to hear of your two years in the 'free zone'. Congratulations.
