So to pick up where I left off in Part 1 of this story, I spent the next ten days on the glorious North Shore of Oahu. This was the first time I had seen the ocean in more than 15 years. After spending the last 10 years in Santa Fe, at 7000 feet, walking barefoot on the sand at sea level felt like a rebirth.
