Yes, it was an overcast morning. That shot was a small portion of a long wall on the sidewalk. The bottom portion was smooth, and the top a series of vertical curved forms. Like rounded clay roof tiles mounted vertically.

Also appreciate your mention of the crucifix motif. They are seemingly everywhere in so many different forms. Mexico has a very interesting relationship with Christianity. They have found a way to combine it with their indigenous beliefs that makes for a more balanced belief system, where guilt is not at the center. This is an aspect I appreciate.
