I will admit, I always preferred Weston and his heart. Reading his Day Books at 22, I knew I wanted a life in photography. Now nearly 50 years later, I continue to be delighted with my chosen path.

I know in name only of Mortensen. If Adams called him 'The Antichrist' - then I will definitely read him. The dedication you quoted is is touching proof I will enjoy his words and work. How well I know, "second-hand equipment and makeshift darkrooms."
