Thanks so much for your kind words here, Rodrigo. That building with the rows of hair is a jaw dropper! It's easily a hundred feet long and twelve feet high. There's six or eight inches between the rows. It looks like mud with fibers in it. All the rows of the 'hair' are black and curl down. I've never seen anything like it.
So easy to imagine Raushenberg asking de Kooning for a drawing to erase.
At this point I think painting is best left to the next lifetime. I've got my hands full with the camera.
