I use Snapseed for editing. After desaturating, I go to the "Glamor Glow" tool. I turn down the glow to around 30, then adjust the warmth to my liking. I usually then use the "Tonal Contrast" tool, and usually leave it at the standard pre-set. This helps recover some detail lost in the 'Glow'. Sometimes I will use this tool twice. Sometimes I will then go back to the "Tune Image" tool if I need to do a bit more tweaking. Hope this helps. All the best to you.
