Close up of flowing palm lines.
“Joining With The Flow” — Image by Author

Flow on glowing strands
The rhythm in light and dark
A dance for my eyes

Close up of crossed thorny branches.
“Mystery Zone” — Image by Author

A thorny cross roads
Amidst the mystery zone
A map to new lands

Close up of crowded cactus garden.
“Amidst A Cactus Garden” — Image by Author

The light shines brightest
In the dark amongst dear friends
They know our secrets

Close up of new growth in the cactus garden.
“New Growth Among Old Friends” — Image by Author

The smallest stands out
Grace in cacophonous light
Likeness of this world

Close up of single leaf on the sidewalk.
“Mystery Prevails” — Image by Author

Intersecting lines
Gently frame a sidewalk leaf
Mystery prevails

I am finding this form of collaboration, between visual and written languages, inspiring. A way of pushing the boundaries of both forms of expression. A way of distilling the essence of image and word.

Thank you for reading, and looking. I welcome your comments, always.

As always . . . To wide open lenses . . . and wide open hearts. — G.E.
