One very profound piece, Charles. I too am sick to death of all the hate. All that you describe here are the exact reasons I left the US. I can no longer recognize it as my country.

I am proud of you my friend for telling the truth here, and big truth it is. If only the entire population could read this, setting aside all judgements and preconceptions, and just let it sink in.
