Bicycles, Scooters, And Motorcycles Offer Photo, And Humor, Opportunities

It’s not too often one encounters multiples like this of the same bicycle. There must have been some sort of promotion, or giveaway going on here. I didn’t hang around to find out.

I counted ten to a row. There were at least fifteen rows, I think. Though with them all looking the same I can’t guarantee my count. And my math is always fuzzy at best.

You get the picture. This was a photo opportunity I could not pass by, math be damned. For some silly reason I have always been attracted to multiples of most anything. Sorry, vitamin pills don’t count!

I also love old things, and if they’re rusty, all the better. This rusty old bicycle easily fit the bill. I suspect this is an early race bike. The races that took place on wooden oval tracks.

The handle bar shape looks like it would drop the rider low, in a head down kind of low. Bicycle racers like that crouched position. It must have started early.

Primitive caliper brake pads are connected to that skinny bar below the handle bar. My mechanically inclined mind wonders how well these brakes…
