Love this piece, Michelle. I am often aware of some version of Hemingway sitting just over my left shoulder as I write. Always whispering, "Keep it simple, and direct." I listen, knowing there is value to acknowledging a bare bones structure.

Still, my generation is known for its proclivity to make something more than what it is. I continue to 'channel Hemingway' as best I can.
