She Agreed On One Condition, We Had to Walk in Color Today

This camera I’m falling in love with has a distinct personality. I continue to learn more about her every day. Like so many of my previous partners, this new love of mine has a mind of her own. She also likes red, a lot. It’s one of the reasons I love her so. If she wants this red, then red it will be.

I’m an easy going guy. I don’t always have to be in the driver’s seat. In fact I find I enjoy the view from the passenger’s seat. It suits my personality these days. Keeping the peace has some wonderful advantages.

Layers on a wall, old graffiti sort of scrubbed off and replaced by new graffiti.

This is a lovely example of those advantages. It would not have been her first choice. She graciously agreed after having her way with that burst of hot red. Relationships are always about give and take. This is something we agree on.

She is also beginning to warm to the notion of subtlety, learning to appreciate the spectrum of grays that color our world. I have a sneaking suspicion this new relationship just might work out. At least we’re talking. And both of us are are trying to improve our listening skills.
