I appreciate your honesty here Sara. It all sounds familiar in so many ways. It is a big part of the reason I love living in Mexico, and the biggest reason I have not made much of an effort to learn more Spanish. What's the point if I have little interest in talking to others?? I'm grateful for my Medium friends, they are enough.
