Great piece here, Travis. I have lived in Oaxaca City for almost a year now. I can easily agree with all you have written. The US has nothing on Mexico, not even close. The beauty, humanity, and open heartedness here is beyond measure. I consider myself one very lucky gringo to be living here, and cannot imagine being in the States these days. All the best to you.
