Great common sense piece, Sara. I feel safer in Mexico than I did in the States. And the people are kinder here. Gringo tax is inconsequential to me. I never try to bargain for anything. I pay the price I am given, knowing whatever it is, is still a bargain. Being kind and respectful to the locals is what I receive in return. I'm one happy gringo.
