Today Is Independence Day In Mexico

As I stepped onto the street this morning, I immediately sensed an unusual quiet. There was a noticeable difference in the air. There was also red, white, and green everywhere I looked. Even the flora echoed these colors.

These colors have been growing in volume over the past ten days. Today they were shouting with national pride.
