And When Will America Finally Get The Memo?

Walking from the cafe this morning, I took the path through Jardin Conzatti. I am always drawn to this magical botanical haven. It soothes and refreshes me. I always leave feeling uplifted.

This morning I found myself drawn to examples of different plant varieties that choose to grow together, often closely together. It is almost like they feed off of one another’s energy. Perhaps they do.

Paying attention to the communities they created, my thoughts went to my own species. I wondered if we humans each spent a hour a day marveling at these tight knit plant neighborhoods, would it finally dawn on us that we could do the same?

The term coexistence came about in early 1947. This term was coined in response to the Cold War that existed between the USA and the Soviet Union. This Cold War lasted until the dissolution of the Soviet Union at the end of 1991. Luckily for us all, we found a way to coexist during this 44 years.

Minds and hearts were different in those times. Nations, their governments, and their peoples, were different then. Person to person…
