Soft blues and greens are often overpowered by the bright reds and yellows in Oaxaca. Yet to my eye they are so very soothing. I sometimes need the balance of these gentle colors.

At times my visual receptors want to cool off a bit. Seeking out the blues and greens will do just that.

This view offers a hint of what I am attempting to express.

I often see unusual vehicles parked on the street. They seem to be part of the magic of Oaxaca. Colorful in ways that reflect the city itself.

The mural above is painted on the side of an old school bus. All of the windows have curtains. It actually looks quite cozy.

The swimming dolphins, in their sea worthy colors, remind me to go with the flow. There is never any reason to swim upstream in this life. And I wonder, how long is that drive to the ocean?
