Another great story, Rodrigo. It reminds me of a few places I have lived, but in truth, a very few. Though you describe in detail how I prefer to live. Oaxaca comes close to this ideal.

Ultimately it comes down to interpersonal connections, and being part of a community. The one piece that so much of daily life is missing these days. Sounds like you have found a very happy and nourishing home. Good on you.
