An interesting, well written, and humorous take on the ever shifting world of cameras. My how time flies with these camera makers. Makes me miss my beloved Deardorff 5x7 Special. DSLR's never quite did it for me after using the Pentax 67 for a whole lot of years.

These days I have found my digital true love in the form of a Fujifilm X-Pro2. Turning off all the LCD info & nonsense, including playback, then attaching a fully manual lens. I have come the closest to a 'real' camera I have found. I love the user experience. I never look at the images until I download them. They seem to fully develop by that time.

I take this camera out for her morning walk every day here in Oaxaca. We both get our exercise and she says she's a happy girl. I know I'm a happy guy.

All the best my friend, and to your expansive stable of image makers as well.
