It felt good to be out the door, and into the coolness of the early morning. Being Sunday morning, the streets were empty and quiet. The soft light was a gift. My camera was happy. As was my heart.

San Felipe del Agua is a predominantly residential neighborhood adding to the quiet of a Sunday morning. This walk provided an interesting collection of scenes to view through my camera lens.

In truth, this early morning walk resulted in a rather disparate group of images. Seems the only thing they have in common is the soft light and soft shadows. Some days are just like that.

Taking an early morning walk to make photographs is much like most everything else in life. Some days are better than others.

It is always best to accept what is on offer, and leave the personal judgements and expectations at home under the bed covers. So that is what I did.

I took solace in the cool breeze and soft light. Along with the joy of the quiet on the street.
