I have been viewing Dia de Los Muertos from afar. I have been living in a neighborhood several miles north of the Centro district, where all of the huge celebrations are happening.

I've also seen a never ending stream of photos on Instagram. The crowds are HUGE! I am not a fan of crowds like that. So I don't have photos of the celebrations that have been going on for well over a week.

Oddly the neighborhood I'm in has more Halloween decorations than Day of the Dead decorations. Go figure?
